Situated in a majestic old building and in one of the most beautiful parts of Amsterdam, this ethnographic museum is unfortunately a forgotten treasure between the more renowned art museums scattered throughout the city. It has such a rich, fascinating collection and is a joy for a younger to older audience. This museum deserves so much more attention; once inside, you're literally in a complete different world.
At the moment of my visit, there was a temporary exhibition, called 'Death Matters'.
